![]() I believe that it can also achieve a superior shield compared to the Python, and a tough shield is definitely the way to go in PvE these days. ![]() The Python packs a huge punch but has a decent turn of speed as well, plus with the money you will have you can go for military hull as well as whatever choice of armament you desire. My understanding is that with full engineering the Fer-de-Lance is a superior combat ship in that it has better maneuverability and has a huge hardpoint. On the original topic, for the money you would have a rock solid Python plus plenty of change, yes the Anaconda is a great ship but when it gets in trouble you struggle to run as it is slow. On the Anaconda I use the 2 small bottom hard points for seeker missiles, a lazy but fun option if a ship is running away, plus it is most satisfying to listen to and watch when they launch 3 repliesThe boa (animal 2.9) cohoused with a python (animal 2.6) showed similar signs and difficulties in eating. im guessing thats code for Python :mksuitcase: lul FDL is the most meta PvP And behind him are FAS and Chief. ![]() Personally Turrets are a no go for me, they fire until you overheat, then keep on going causing heat damage (this is based on trying in beta admittedly) and the only way of stopping that was to switch fire groups to stop them. However most skilled players go back to medium sized ships because those are even MORE dangerous in skilled hands. I dont recommend the Anaconda for guardian farming, or anything that requires landing it. The T10 is also an option for combat/mining, or T9 for trading. If youre willing to grind rep the Imperial Cutter and Federal Corvette have different strengths. I would assume that turreted weapons would be more helpful in a Conda especially for the 2 small bottom rear mounted hardpoints, or am I wrong? The Anaconda is the all rounder of the large ships. The things is I see alot of people using gimballed/fixed weapons, even on big ships like the Conda, Python and Clipper. I'm trying to grind a Python and at the same time hoping to build enough rep for a Clipper. I'm too far away from either Python or Anaconda. If youre looking to maximize your trade profits, and rank, Id go with a Python.
